Hardanger Cards Finished!!

Hi Everyone and Welcome to all my new followers.

I've been busy putting together some of my Hardanger and making them into cards.  I've just got one more to finish into a card.  So here they all are.

Here is my latest one.  Just need to make it into a card.

This is a 50th Birthday Card for my Niece.

The turquoise heart card now finished.

50th Birthday Card for my friend Cheryl.

It's always handy to have any extra cards made up for a special occasion.   You never know when it might be needed, and Hardanger cards always look special.  One day I will make something bigger.

Hardanger Hearts

Hi Everyone

I found some part done Hardanger Hearts in my stash, so over the weekend, I thought I would finish them while watching the Olympic Games.  I even decided to have ago at a new stitch (on one of them), just to see what it would look like.  So this is my first attempt at Wheel Filling Stitch or Woven Quadrant Filling Stitch.  I found the stitch in New Stitches Magazine (Issue 232).  I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

Hardanger Finish

Hi Everyone and welcome to all my new followers.

I know, this is quick!  But I just had to share with you a quick little Hardanger design from "New Stitches Magazine", Issue  No. 232, that I started and finished yesterday!   The designs in the magazine are all done in white, but I just wanted to use some of my multicoloured threads that I have in my stash.

Finally the sun is shining and it's not as cold today.  So I went out into the garden and took some photos of the flowers, especially the fuchsias.  They are looking so good this year, with all the rain we have had.
